Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Iris was immediately drawn to Southwest Florida’s natural beauty—from its unspoiled beaches and vibrant wildlife to peaceful bike trails winding through protected landscapes. Today, she channels that same admiration into helping others discover the island’s rare charm and strong sense of community.

Over the course of her career, Iris has successfully navigated a variety of market conditions and property types, from vacation homes and investment properties to full-time residences and relocations. She spent many years as a sales representative for major manufacturers, working with materials such as flooring, countertops, drywall, insulation, roofing, and siding. She’s also completed six home remodels—some from the studs up—proving she’s not afraid of hard work and is the person to call for fixer-uppers.

Iris has also managed personal rental properties for over 25 years and has been elected to both commercial and residential HOA boards and holds the Sanibel Captiva Island Specialist (SCIS) designation, a reflection of her deep local knowledge and leadership within the community.

As a full-time Sanibel resident, Iris offers local insight that comes from truly living the lifestyle. She enjoys exploring the island’s trails, kayaking through mangroves, and walking her dog along scenic paths. An avid nature photographer, Iris’s photo of a dragonfly earned honorable mention in the 2024 “Ding” Darling Photo Contest. She recently completed captain’s school and will soon be a licensed boat captain, expanding her connection to the surrounding waters she knows so well.
